Dina Prioste is an actress, certified Vinyasa Yoga and Spinning (indoor cycling) instructor. She began her yoga practice with a VHS tape in 2001 and started taking classes at the gym to compliment her cardio routine.
By 2003, Dina was an enthusiastic New York Road Runner competing in races, but an injury due to careless overtraining forced her to rethink her workout routine and what she really wanted in her life. At that time she began to take yoga seriously and decided to become an instructor with the intent to prevent anyone else from making the same mistake and promote safe and healthy fitness.
Dina received her 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga certification from Atmananda Yoga in New York, NY. She has been teaching since 2004 and has instructed group and private classes at yoga studios and gyms all over NYC. Additionally, Dina has taught at the MS Bike Tour & NYU Relay for Life, appeared on the WB 11 News in a demonstration, and enjoyed a peaceful practice at a loud sport wear launch while modeling Fila’s yoga line.
In 2006 Dina decided to spice up her teaching skills and got a certification as a Spinning instructor from Mad Dogg Athletics. Now she’s hooked on spinning and looks forward to getting additional certifications in other areas of fitness.
Currently she teaches group yoga and spin classes at health clubs in NYC and yoga lessons privately. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an experienced yoga teacher.
