Get Exercised began with my desire to teach anyone around the world with web access the most beneficial exercises I know while making it fun and entertaining to watch. Physical education was a major frustration for me in childhood because I was always one of the smallest in my classes and often the butt of the joke during PE period. I swore I would never be physically active again beyond high school but after gaining weight in my 20’s, gorging too long on junk food and feeling terrible, I changed my diet and nervously joined a gym. I got hooked! What struck me was how good exercising made me feel when I did an activity I enjoyed, not how my body looked or how well I performed. Now my fitness philosophy is founded on the idea that lasting beauty can only be made from the inside out when the body’s systems are allowed to function at their best and are supported by healthy personal habits. On Get Exercised I demonstrate exercises that improve the body’s ability to function and look it’s best. Even one of these exercises practiced regularly with enjoyment can make a huge difference in overall body health and beauty.
Regardless of what body ‘type’ one has, a healthy body is a sexy body.

Rock your arm balances better than you ever thought possible in this two hour, back by demand workshop at the JCC in Palo Alto, CA. This workshop will highlight the basic principles for balancing on the arms and a challenging vinyasa sequence to open up and prepare your body for each pose. This workshop will focus on long held stretches that release tension from the deep connective tissue of the hips and lower to mid-spine.
